Tanzania's legendary game preserves - Lake Manyara,
Serengeti and in Ngorongoro Serengeti and Tarangire,
this is the ultimate Tour package.
Note: We do not place
groups together. This way you are ensured the full
attention of our guide, but with the added knowledge of
our guides’ experiences. It also means that we can start
the tour on the day you prefer.
Day 1:
Arrive. Upon arrival, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Arusha /
Lake Manyara. Meet your safari guide and take a
guided morning walk around Lake Duluti. Then, travel to
Lake Manyara National Park. This small Park is a scenic
wonderland with beautiful views across the lake into the
Rift Valley. Elephants, lions, hippos, and hundreds of
species of birds make their homes here. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Lake Manyara / Serengeti. One
more game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, followed
by an afternoon drive to the Serengeti. Covering 5,600
square miles, Seregeti National Park is home to one of
the largest and most diverse wild ¬animal populations in
Africa. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Serengeti.
In the language of the Masai, Serengeti means
the “endless plains that go up to the sky.” Here you
enjoy sweeping vistas of the savannah. Look for lion,
leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelle, zebra
and more on morning and evening game drives. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Serengeti/ Ngorongoro. Watch
for more animals as you head to Olduvai Gorge, the site
of Louis and Mary Leakey's renowned archaeological
discoveries. Their findings include some of man's
earliest known ancestral remains. There is time to walk
through the small museum. After a picnic lunch, continue
to your lodge set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.
(B, L, D)
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater.
Descend more than 2,000 feet through the morning
mist in to Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most
captivating wildlife areas. Due to its size, this
volcanic caldera is comprised of several distinct areas
of flora and fauna. Vast herds of zebra, wildebeest,
gazelle and their predators roam the crater. Look for
the rare black rhino grazing in and near the lakes. This
afternoon, visit a Maasai village before returning to
the lodge for dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 7:
Ngorongoro Crater / Tarangire National Park.
Leave Ngorongoro, heading to Mto wa Mbu village,
home to more than 90 different tribes. Continue on
through the highlands with its expanse of farmland and
coffee plantations. Enter Tarangire National Park and
enjoy a game drive on the way to the lodge. After lunch
at the lodge, perhaps take a relaxing swim in the
swimming pool. Before dinner, enjoy another game drive.
This area has one of the highest densities of elephants
found in Africa. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Tarangire /
Arusha / Kilimnjaro. One last chance to
photograph the Masai Steppe. After a break for lunch in
Arusha, transfer to airport in Kilimanjaro for your
flight back home
